Course overview and purpose:
Teaching in the 21st century poses many challenges, including the integration of technology into the classroom. Our course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use web tools in their teaching practice. Through this course, participants will have the opportunity to develop their creativity, innovation, and mastery of technology in order to motivate and inspire students. The programme activities consist of practical exercises, workshops, discussion groups, and project work, with a focus on the use of online applications to create mind maps, posters, wordclouds, interactive image and video technology, timelines, and collecting student views. Overall, the course structure and content is aimed at providing participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practice while fostering a creative and innovative learning environment.
This course is perfect for anyone seeking to improve their teaching methods, gain experience with the latest technology, and enhance their students’ learning experience.

Learning outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to effectively integrate web tools into their teaching practice.
  • Participants will possess practical experience in the use of various online tools, including Mindmeister, Canva, Worditout, and Thinglink.
  • Participants will be able to create timelines and collect student views to further support their teaching practice.
  • Participants will be able to foster a creative and innovative learning environment through the integration of technology.
  • Participants will have developed their collaboration, communication, and networking skills with other teaching professionals.

Course dates are made available based on the availability of trainers but are “confirmed” only once the minimum number of participants is reached.

Course dates are usually listed Sunday to Sunday. The course usually takes place Monday to Friday and the full-day trip usually takes place on Saturday, so Sundays are arrival and departure days for those who book course, activities and accommodation. You can leave earlier if you book just the course.
