Judit Fehér is a freelance teacher, teacher trainer and materials writer based in Budapest, Hungary. She has a BA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language as well as in Hungarian language and literature. Her post-graduate degree is in Curriculum and Syllabus Design for English language and literature. She also holds post-graduate TEFL specialist certificates in Mentoring, Methodology, Testing and Evaluation, as well as international TEFL / ESOL certificates from the International Teacher Training Institute; Trinity College, London and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Judit has extensive teaching experience ranging from pre-school to post-graduate including all levels, ages and many specialties. She has more than 20 years of experience in teacher training working most notably for Trinity Collage, London; Pilgrims, UK; British Council; British Study Centres and Europass Teacher’s Academy, running courses of varied topics and lengths mainly in the UK and also internationally including Romania, Denmark, Turkey, Guatemala, Kazakhstan and Slovakia. She has also run Erasmus-funded courses for Converzum in Budapest and has given workshops and talks at international conferences and events. Her main professional interests include humanism in language teaching, CLIL, PBL, Global Education, materials writing, creativity and the arts.
Judit is an author of secondary coursebooks, workbooks and teacher's books for Hungary, as well as a number of articles for printed and online professional journals and websites such as the British Council Learn English website, English Teaching Professional, Modern English Teacher, Humanising Language Teaching and The Teacher Trainer. She is co-author of Creative Resources with Bonnie Tsai (IAL, Atlanta)
