Teacher trainer


Aleksandra holds two master’s degrees - in Geography and English, and worked as a school teacher in the education system in Poland for 18 years, including teaching Geography through English. Since 2007 she has been a freelancer, specialising in EFL/CLIL teacher training and working as an academic teacher (EAP). Her main area of interest is CLIL, and she is experienced in training both Primary and Secondary teachers in delivering subject classes via English as a foreign language. She has also worked as a line manager and trainer of trainers in international settings. Since 2005 she has been engaged in training CLIL teachers in Poland, organising training sessions and workshops. She regularly works in the UK for Pilgrims. She has also worked for other UK course providers: Bell, Edinburgh School of English), as well as in France (British Council via TransformELT), Kazakhstan (British Study Centres), Qatar, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Iraq. She also taught English in Belgium and China. She is a regular conference speaker (incl. a plenary talk delivered at IATEFL 2019 in Liverpool), an author of CLIL materials (ELTons 2014 nominee and ELTons 2017 winner as a team member).
