Course description

Course overview and purpose:
The course “Innovation for language teachers” combines theoretical input with extensive practical application in language teaching. Participants will engage in methodology workshops that explore contemporary approaches to language pedagogy and examine how these can be adapted to different learner profiles and educational contexts. A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on exploration of digital tools for language learning, allowing participants to experience platforms and applications as learners before designing their own technology-enhanced activities.
Throughout the course, real case studies from language classrooms will be analysed to illustrate challenges, solutions, and examples of effective practice. Participants will take part in project-based work focused on designing innovative language learning units, lessons, or materials that respond to their professional needs. Collaborative learning is central to the experience, with structured peer exchange and joint lesson design encouraging participants to share expertise, reflect on practice, and develop adaptable teaching strategies.
